Welder (TIG)/Fabricator

Food Equipment Manufacturer located in Frankfort, IL hiring a
TIG Welder/Fabricator
with 1+ years experience welding food-grade stainless steel. Our

Fabricators

TIG Welder/Fabricator Qualifications required
Ability to produce food-grade welds on 304 stainless steel assemblies.
Able to weld a variety of material thicknesses, ranging from 16g up to ½” thick.
Able to work from prints and weld parts per symbols as noted.
Accurately layout and fixture small and larger multipart weld assemblies.
Check and straighten all weld assemblies using straight edges and squares to maintain square and flatness.
Measure parts and assemblies using calipers, rigid rules, micrometers, and tape measures accurately.
Set up and operate CNC Press brakes is a plus
Load programs onto machines and make angle corrections as needed.
Experience with Accurpress or Safan brakes is a plus.
Position requires a high degree of flexibility to quickly shift tasks as priorities demand.
Ability to work with minimal supervision.
