Welder/Mechanic
Class 8 Truck Repair LLC is looking for a Welder for our Bakersfield shop.
Mechanic Duties and Responsibilities:
Troubleshoot, diagnose, and complete repairs on a fleet of Truck and Trailers
Trailer repair (Brakes, wheel seals, lighting, suspension)
Document repairs
Welder Fabricator Skills and Specifications:
Knowledge of the properties and characteristics of metals used for cutting, welding and forming objects and of various welding fluxes and rods.
Knowledge of safety precautions related to occupational hazards, procedures and practices of the trade.
Skilled in identifying the proper power and hand tools in the safest possible manner and various equipment’s.
Skilled in operating fork lifts and overhead cranes.
Must be able to weld aluminum
$21.00 – $30.00 per hour
