Job Summary:

The individual in this position is the first person our customers see when they walk in to a construction, commercial or residential jobsite. So naturally you must be welcoming, approachable and professional in apparel and manners. The ideal candidate should be extremely competent in the following skills.

· Welding in various types of materials

· Fabrication and assembly

· Machinery operation

· Hand tool operation

· Problem solving

· Lay-out and blue print reading

· Mathematics

Detail and high quality finish is a requirement that we at NOORDA uphold to highest level. From basic structures that get skinned to one off custom railings and kitchen range hoods. Our projects are specific and one of a kind to our clients and we choose to deliver impeccable results.

Qualifications and Attributes:

· High school diploma

· Welding school or program training

· Welding certifications are not required but are a positive

· 4 years’ experience in similar position required

· LIFT or REACH certified a plus but not required

· Spanish speaking is a plus but not required

Schedule and location:

· Normal scheduled hours are from 6:30am – 3/4pm, Monday through Friday. Saturdays will be offered.

· Job site location: 2160 west 1700 south SLC Utah 84104

Physical requirements:

· Stand for 80-100% of the time

· Lift, push, pull, up to 50 lbs

· Walk the distance of our shop (700’)

· Able to work from various heights

. Able to work full days in hot/cold conditions
