Welder / Fitter / Fabricator

We are looking to fill a first shift MIG welding and layout position building railings, stairs, and other miscellaneous steel items. The position is paid on a piece rate basis with a minimum hourly rate. It requires the ability to interpret designs, create a layout, cut/drill materials, MIG weld, and clean up welds. Our most successful employees can adapt to a variety of projects, plan, and problem solve.
Job duties include:
Fabrication setup – including interpreting fabrication prints, material organization, and weldment layout.
Operate saws, punches, and drills as required.
MIG weld steel materials from 16ga to ½” thick.
TIG welding of brass, aluminum, and stainless is a plus but not required.
Grind welds to required finish standards.
Operate overhead cranes as required.
Lift 50 pounds on a regular basis.
