The ZJ team is offering challenging and exciting career opportunities for
Welder/Fabricators on the 2nd Shift.
We are seeking qualified candidates that are focused on quality and safety. Qualified candidates must be able to perform all duties listed below safely and follow all company safety procedures.

KEY POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

Knowledge and ability to position, layout, fit-up, cut and weld in accordance to blueprints

Read and interpret all AWS basic weld symbols and typical welding symbols

Comprehend a Bill of Material to determine necessary materials and requirements

Perform detailed quality checks following D1.1 standards

Operate tooling and equipment, such as a torch, grinder, air arc, and overhead cranes

Performing all job duties following company safety rules and proper use of assigned personal protective equipment

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Must pass an AWS 2G flux core multi pass weld test on a one-inch plate

Experience laying multiple passes with flux core wire feed

Frequently lifting, carrying, pushing and pulling up to 50 pounds of material

Frequently walking, stooping, kneeling, reaching, and climbing

Frequent use of basic hand and measurement tools

Work requires alert individuals with good balance and physical strength

Applicants must be willing and able to work mandatory weekday and voluntary Saturday overtime

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

One (1) year or more of welding/fabrication work experience at meets or exceeds performance expectation
