We are a family owned business in Olathe, CO, and we are a mid-scale steel fabrication company in the “tiny house” and small structure segments.

We are seeking qualified individuals who can not only pass a D1.1 AWS predetermined weld exam, but also who has the personality to fit well with our diverse team of Tiny House Experts. We build more than two thirds of the tiny house trailers and foundations in North America, so we are a VERY fast paced, busy steel shop. You have probably seen our work on the last 5 seasons of television shows like “Off-Grid Living”, Tiny House Nation, or Living Big in a Tiny House, just to name a few. Qualifications required:

Proficient in all areas of allied cutting processes, welding joints in multiple processes (FCAW, GMAW primary).

Can read printed directions and follow blueprints and shop drawings accurately.

Has operational knowledge of band saw operation, forklift operation, welding machine maintenance and operation, and overall shop safety protocol.

good trade references for attendance and performance. (references will be contacted prior to employment offer)

Any additional skills in construction trades will be considered added bonus! If you can do electrical, plumbing, or any home construction background, we will consider you for multiple positions in our company.

If you are contacted for a welding interview, you will be required to arrive ready to weld. Long sleeves, pants, welding hat, gloves, grinders, hood, or any items you need to perform your duties as a welder, should arrive with you to test for this position. This is important…

Pay is commensurate with experience and test performance, and will be at the higher end of the trade scale for non-union companies.
