Welder/Fabricator (FT)
WELDER/FABRICATOR FOR SECURITY DOORS & LOCKS MANUFACTURER
ASSA ABLOY Entrance Systems is a leading supplier of entrance automation systems and is seeking candidates for a fabricator/welder position to join our team!
Duties/Responsibilities:
Fabricate heavy-duty sliding door hardware components per customer design specifications. Includes welding with MIG, plasma, and an oxyacetylene torch.
Setup and operate a drill, lathe, grinder, thread, brake press, and mill. Clean-out and assembly.
Accurate machining and timely delivery of specialized orders.
Quality control and order accuracy.
Process efficiency and effectiveness.
Days per week:
Monday – Thursday.
Shift:
1st Shift.
Qualifications:
Advanced fabrication and welding skills are required.
Ability to read design prints (CAD) and understand tolerances, piece/assembly layouts.
Timely and accurate delivery against daily production goals.
Able to move between a variety of work projects and responsibilities.
