Position:

Welder/Fabricator

Schedule (2nd Shift):

Monday thru Friday; 3:45 pm to 12:15 am.

Overtime is staying later.

Rate:
$18.00 to $22.00 per hour.

Job Description:

The primary tasks involve building machine frames and components out of structural steel, followed by tearing down completed machines to prepare for transport.

MIG Welding & fabrication of machine frames and components that consist of light gauge sheet metal to heavy gauge tube, flat bar & I-Beam.

Fabricating ovens, guards, tanks, doors, fan brackets, catwalks.

Grinding and finishing completed products.

Perform quality checks on finished components.

Installing finished components into machine structures.

Dismantling machines for painting & shipping.

Material Handling with sit-down forklifts & overhead cranes.

Desired Skills:

Minimum 1 year MIG welding and/or fabrication experience.

Ability to read and interpret engineering blueprints.

Experience with saws, shears, drill presses, forklifts, and cranes is a plus.
