Welder and Fabricator/Mechanic-SHEET METAL
Custom sheet metal fabricator in Wayne, NJ is seeking a mechanic/welder. We do a wide variety of work, producing high quality, precision parts quickly and reliably. The successful candidate will work well in a team setting, be self motivated, and contribute a high standard of quick turn prototype parts.
Responsibilities:
– Read and interpret engineering drawings, sketches and verbal instructions
– Weld steel, stainless steel and aluminum using Mig and Tig welders
– Set up and operate other fabrication equipment
– Create precision sheet metal fabricated parts
– Perform in-process inspection
Requirements:
– 3-5+ years welding and sheet metal fabrication experience
– Attention to detail
– Excellent communication skills
– Ability to set up and operate Mig and Tig welders
– Experience with milling, turning and laser cutting a plus
