TIG Welder & Lead Fabricator – Automotive Motorsports Parts

(This is a Full Time Position. Open to Part-Time or Contract for the right candidate.)

We are seeking a Lead Fabricator / TIG welder to join our team. You will be supporting the development of prototype car parts, fabrication, modification of existing exhaust products, and in addition to having the opportunity to work with product design engineer and develop new products.
Our ideal candidate is someone with motorsports fabrication experience, eager to learn, self-driven, detail oriented and has demonstrated success working with a team towards a common goal with proven results.
Responsibilities:
Preparation and fabrication of car parts to engineering specifications
Tracking and documenting of fabrication processes and results
Organization of material and parts
Provide feedback to product engineer on design and process improvement
Maintain shop equipment as required
TIG welding & metal fabrication and be expected to develop and use these skills to the highest standard
Able to meet production deadline by sales team manager
Able to help order fulfillment team whenever possible
Qualifications:
Understanding of Motorsports car parts
TIG welding and/or fabrication experience required
Understand and able to build tooling fixture for small batch production
HS diploma or equivalent
Knowledge and experience with shop tools and machines (drill press, bandsaw, belt sanders, hand tools etc.)
Basic knowledge and understanding of engineering drawings and documents
Basic knowledge in the use of measurement and inspection
Maintain a clean and organized workspace
Good attention to detail
Good analytical and mathematical skills
Good mechanical aptitude
Work efficiently and effectively both independently and as a team
Ability to remain positive and focused in demanding and stressful situations
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Ability to lift 50 lbs
Honest, reliable, organized.

Pay: $27.00 – $45.00 per hour
