Job Description

Koss Industrial is a leading manufacturer of custom stainless steel processing equipment and a preferred provider of quality products and services to the cheese, food, beverage and other sanitary industries. We’ve been providing equipment, components, parts, electrical controls, instrumentation and automation since 1978. Our services include engineering and design, electrical engineering and automation, custom fabrication and finishing, precision machining and waterjet cutting, as well as installation, service and repair. Our precision machining and waterjet cutting services are available for contract manufacturing.

Work Schedule:

Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM

Qualifications & Skills:

Must have experience TIG welding on stainless steel.

Must be able to accurately read blue prints and comprehend standard operating procedures.

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.

Must be able to accurately measure using tape measure and other associated measuring devices.

Capable of bending, twisting, squatting, kneeling, crawling, climbing, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, reaching, working overhead and standing for long periods of time while performing job tasks.

Capable of regular lifting randomly sized items up to 60 pounds.

Commitment to quality and safety excellence a must.

Must be reliable with a strong work ethic, positive attitude and morale.

Capable of working independently with minimal supervision.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Read blue prints and specs to accurately plan and layout work to build machines and equipment. Ensure correct product dimensions are obtained while minimizing product waste.

Measure, fit and weld stainless steel equipment and systems.

Weld and fabricate components in flat, vertical, or overhead positions. Perform fabrication and welding work in confined spaces.

Safely and efficiently operate Fork Lifts and Overhead Cranes to load and unload parts from machines, fixtures and work areas.

Efficiently and effectively perform all work tasks ensuring the highest level of employee safety, product quality and team work.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $17.00 – $32.00 per hour
