TRAINING:

This is an opportunity to train for a new career that offers security, stability and pride in your work. Training typically lasts 5-8 months. The training regimen is primarily on-the-job, hands-on experience (similar to an apprenticeship) partnered with modest amounts of written and online assignments. Training will begin with roughly 2 weeks of basic skills training in our office in River Falls, WI.

TRAVEL:

During training, trainees will be partnered with any of our existing technicians for 4-6 week periods of time. That technician may be located in other parts of the US. (ability to travel extensively is a MUST). Breaks are scheduled for all major holidays, and occasional weekends. Company pays required travel expenses including airfare, lodging, per-diem etc.

POST-TRAINING CAREER:

When training is complete, technicians are based from home. Technicians will be given a fully-equipped work vehicle and will continue to service customers in their local geography. A typical coverage area is roughly a 200 mile radius. Travel will be an ongoing part of the job, however, there will be significantly more home time than during training. As a certified technician, you will supervise other new hires.

REQUIREMENTS:

Documented work history in a mechanical trade, or formal education in mechanical field

Ability to travel extensively (4-6 weeks at a time)

Valid Driver’s License

Computer Literate

Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent

Good physical condition (Physical demands include 80lb+ lifting, climbing, and kneeling)

Applicant agrees to motor vehicle records check, criminal records check, drug screen & vision screen

COMPENSATION:

Base Salary for new hires is between $32,000 – $36,000/yr (Depending on qualifications). Employees can expect between $5-8,000 a year in per diem on top of base compensation. Over $4,000 worth of Salary increases are available for completing additional online training worksheets and log sheets. Promotion incentives total over $9,000. Extra Pay opportunities also exist. We offer a variety of benefits including company vehicle, medical, 401k, vacation accrual and holiday pay.
