Structural Welder/Iron Worker

Structural Iron Workers (Oklahoma City)
We are looking for structural ironworkers with prior experience. Employees will be responsible for laying out and erecting structural steel to build metal structures. Individual will assist other members of our team with installation at different commercial and residential locations.
This position requires 50% travel around the Midwest & 50% local jobs. For jobs located outside of Oklahoma, employees will not be gone more than 2 weeks at a time, travel and per-diem are paid by company.
Pay based on experience, minimum age 18 years old. Full time position.
Primary responsibilities
Install iron or steel girders, columns, and other construction materials from blueprints
Ability to perform layout and set elevations from blueprints
Repair older infrastructure.
Erect steel frames.
Direct operation of cranes to move structural steel, reinforcing bars, and other materials onto and around the construction site.
Connect steel columns, beams, and girders.
Drill holes into steel for bolts.
Unload and stack steel.
Attach cables to steel and then to the crane.
Rigging
Hoist steel into place in the framework.
Position steel with connecting bars and spud wrenches.
Work with drift pins to align the holes in the steel with the framework holes.
Use plumb bobs, levels, and laser equipment to check alignment.
Bolt or weld piece into place.
Install stairs, handrails, or curtain walls.
Make sure all pieces are fitted properly and complete repairs as necessary
Must be willing to work 40 + hours and requires 50% travel & work out of town for extended periods of time around the Midwest & 50% of time working local jobs.
Required experience:
Ironworker: 1 to 2 years
Certified Welder
Must be able to pass weld test
Fitter/ Welder/ layout men (Oklahoma City)
We are looking for structural Fitter/ Welder/ layout men with prior experience. Employees will be responsible for laying out and erecting structural to build metal structures. Welds and cuts steel, interprets blueprints. Individual will assist other members of our team with installation at different commercial and residential locations. Pay based on experience, minimum age 18 years old. Full time position.
Responsibilities
Operate production machinery
Shop Cut, Fit, Weld and assemble fabricated Products
Must be able to Read Drawings and Weld Symbols
Layout and fabrication of Stairs, Rails, Beams, Columns and Metals
Inspects and documents product compliance
Handle materials.
Working knowledge of capacities of equipment.
Maintains time records accurately.
Work closely with other fabricators and labors to improve their skills.
Maintenance of equipment.
Work with shop foreman to insure production goals are met.
Communicate status of orders to the shop superintendent.
Perform other assignments as directed by shop superintendent.
Willing to work 40 + hours and work out of town for extended periods of time
