Fitter- Steel Fabrication
Steel fabrication company in South Seattle seeks a hardworking, dependable experienced fitter/fabricator (not looking for welder).
Structural and misc. steel fabrication experience. Columns, beams, canopies, stairs , hand rails and embeds are normal work.
WABO Certified D1.1 for FCAW.
Need the ability to read, understand and analyze steel fabrication shop drawings, possess the skill to lay out, fit and fabricate structural and misc. steel and have knowledge of material characteristics, welding characteristics, and the effects of heat.
The ability to assemble and weld with minimal direction or supervision.
It is a requirement to understand and comply with supervisor instructions and company safety policies.
This can be a physically demanding position; must be able to do heavy lifting when necessary.

Compensation is dependent on experience, with review after 90 day period.
Must be US work eligible and Drug Free.
