Job Description:

Daniels Wood Land, Inc (DWL) is seeking a highly-motivated Sr Welder Fabricator who can construct metal theming-related products and animatronics. Mechanical aptitude, artistic talent, and attention to detail are preferred. The applicant must have a valid driver’s license, and be able/willing to travel occasionally. Reliable transportation is a must. Fluent English speaking is required.

Job Responsibilities:

– Construct, assemble, and finish metal products

– Operate welder, machinery, and related equipment

– Understand/read shop-drawings/blueprints

– Notifies supervisor when faulty equipment or defective materials are discovered

– Able to adapt to a one-team mentality

– Performs other related duties as assigned

Job Requirements:

– Knowledge of mig/wire feed, torch, and plasma equipment

– Experience with tig welding and aluminum

– Experience with Carbon Steel

– Safely operate drill press, chop saw, and other metal fabrication equipment

– Ability to work in a very fast-paced, high-pressure environment with many tasks requiring constant diligence, changing priorities and quick adaptations to very tight deadlines

– Positive attitude and high level of self-motivation

– Creative sensibility

– Excellent communication skills and ability to work with diverse groups of people

– understands instructions readily and is able to perform them

– Critical thinking skills and problem solving

– restructures data and ideas in order to achieve creative approach to projects

Basic understanding of design techniques, principles, and tools necessary for the precise production of technical plans, drawings, models and blueprints

Job Specifications:

– Welding certifications a plus

– Experience with Aluminum a plus

– Pay based on experience

– Ideal Candidate may have previously worked as tig welder : mig welder : weld and fabrication : manufacturing
