Position:
The Shop Technician –Welder/Fabricator reports directly to the Operations Manager and is responsible manufacturing and maintaining LSC applicators and silos and assisting with customer service calls:

Assemble, repair and rebuild custom-made equipment used primarily in the landfill industry

Ability to weld proficiently

Able to accurately trouble-shoot and resolve equipment issues quickly

Follow communication procedures, guidelines and policies documenting maintenance and warranty related matters

Requirements / Skills / Traits:

High school diploma required. Technical certificate or degree preferred.

Strong mechanical skills (diesel preferred).

Strong ability to analyze information and present ideas and information accurately and concisely.

Ability to comprehend and read equipment prints.

Strong customer service focus.

Self-motivated and strong organizational skills.

Quality-focused and results-driven

Valid driver’s license.

Must have own tools.

Travel may be required.
