SHEET METAL FABRICATOR & WELDER
Our team is looking for an individual with strong skills in forming sheet metal, fabrication, and welding. This position must be accustomed to working with all materials with an emphasis on stainless steel.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Effectively handle multiple projects simultaneously in a deadline driven environment
Use and experience of Hand tools
Help maintain a clean room environment
Skills
Versatile in all aspects of fabrication: railing systems, shade structures, staircases, signage, sculpture, architectural details, and furniture
Versed in cutting; capable of safely using a band saw, cold saw, and shear
Fluent in sheet metal forming; capable of using a shear, punch press, press brake, notcher
Read prints, layouts, shear, notch, punch & form sheet metal components (standard box fabrication)
Qualification Requirements
Valid California Driver’s License
Must speak English
Read and work from shop drawings and hand sketches
Capable of transporting, lifting, handling, and installing work
Job Type
Part Time with potential to become Full-Time
There will be a weld test prior to an interview. Please bring your welding helmet, gloves, and measuring tape. You will be denied the test without these. We are interested in seeing your welding skills as a means of qualifying, but this opening is for a fabricator of custom details.
