Lighting manufacturer in Warwick, RI, Day-O-Lite, is looking for an experienced Fabricator to join our team. This is a full-time, position. Current hours are Monday through Friday from

8 AM to 4:30 PM. Summer hours, beginning June 1st through Labor Day, are Monday through Friday 7 AM to 3:30 PM. Our workforce is part of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers.

Description:

· Operate and set up shears, press brake, and punch press machines.

· Must have experience handling and working with sheet metal and aluminum

· Perform quality inspection

· Layout & examine stock or materials to be processed, quality inspection and attention to detail

· Lifting materials

· MIG/Spot welding experience preferred

· Knowledge of lean manufacturing would be ideal

Requirements:

· Be a team player

· Ability to cross train

· Ability to train and guide others

· Ability to read and understand drawings and production instructions in English

Pay Schedule and Benefits:

Hire Rate 24.05/hr

90 Days 24.67/hr

6 Months 25.29/hr

12 Months 25.91/hr
