JOB DESCRIPTION –

SHEET METAL FABRICATOR / TIG WELDER – Hiawatha, IA

We are looking for an experienced TIG welder with great print reading skills to help us build complex weldments for our customers. Our Fabricators receive one-of-a-kind prints, and use them to weld together fabricated components to build products of all shapes and sizes. The team at this Hiawatha site is excited to bring someone onboard that can learn quickly, have a positive attitude, work well in a team, and who is willing to be nimble in doing various tasks to get the jobs done for our customers. For this position, the tasks would include TIG Welding and some polishing/finishing. Candidates must enjoy working on prototype and pre-production projects, be cooperative in a team environment, and have a great working attitude.

REQUIREMENTS

Minimum 3 years TIG welding experience (stainless steel sheet metal welding is a plus)

Print reading

Experience working in a manufacturing environment

Metal polishing experience is a plus
