Advantage Metalwork & Finishing, a low volume, high mix, custom sheet metal fabrication company is seeking a skilled Sheet Metal Welder/Fabricator for our 2nd Shift Operations.

Essential Functions

Experience with MIG/TIG/Stainless and Aluminum preferred

Ability to read blueprints and recognize welding symbols and specifications

QC at the source / check your work before moving on to next routing

Enforce the safety standards and policies for the fabrication department

Ability to use variety of tools and equipment

Knowledge of industry safety practices

Ability to work overtime (extended days and/or weekends) as needed

Qualifications

Prior experience in a similar role highly desired

Basic math skills and mechanical aptitude required

Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings

Strong attention to detail

Must be reliable and have a strong work ethic

Physical Requirements

Prolonged periods of sitting or standing for long periods of time

Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at times

Full-Time / Hourly / Non-Exempt
Monday-Friday, 2:30 pm – 11:00 pm + overtime as needed
Hourly rate commensurate with demonstrated experience
