Position Description

Are you a welder and hate working in a grungy, dirty outdoor weld shop? Come to LACO where our welders work in a clean, organized temperature-controlled shop. Our welders play an integral part in our manufacturing process.

Desired Skills:

Ability to perform fit-up and precision TIG and MIG welding of Stainless Steel or Aluminum

Read and interpret blueprints

You need to be a self-starter and be able to efficiently organize and track time

Experience with manual lathes, mills, Iron Worker, metal rolls, & saws is a plus!

Able to work independently with little supervision

This job requires you to lift, push or pull up to 50 pounds

Ability to work with our engineering team and communicate properly

Have a high focus on safety and the ability to learn and follow LACO’s safety standards

We need a hard-working individual who is dependable and on time to work each day.

Education/Experience:

High School Diploma

Minimum 3 years of welding experience

Job Details:

Pay $23.50 – $25.50 per hour depending on experience

5 days/week Monday-Friday Full-Time. This position is for our second shift which starts at 12:30 pm, with a 9/80 option. There is a shift differential for working this shift.

Hourly rate: depending on experience and passing a weld test.
