We are looking for an EXPERIENCED WELDER. You will be welding, fabricating, repairing, and/or assembling metal structures through the use of welders, cutters, shapers, and measuring tools.

We offer weekly pay and guaranteed full-time hours; shifts are 12hr shifts. Benefits (medical, dental, vision) are available after 90 days. Good attendance and punctuality IS A MUST.

Essential Functions of This Role:

Operate and maintain machines that fabricate and repair metal equipment.

Experience using multiple welding machines, but mostly MIG welding.

Take and read measurements. Align components using calipers, rules, or clamps. Read blueprints.

Use critical thinking and problem-solving skills to help plan the layout of work, project, and/or procedures; execute those plans.

Determine appropriate welding equipment to use and when.

Set up components for welding if/as needed.

Inspect welded surfaces for breaks or flaws. Attention to detail.

Must be able to follow specific directions, have a good working attitude, and understand/follow all safety/plant practices.

Utilize proper time management skills to ensure work is being performed to meet established productivity standards. Ability to meet workflow with quality assurance.

Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follow prescribed safety/plant regulations.

Exposed to plant elements such as noise, dust, odors, fumes, and oils.

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Steel toe shoes and a mask are required for Orientation Class.

Robinsons’ interview office is at 920 SW Goodyear Blvd, Lawton OK. Eastside of the road. Must have a mask for the interview.

Physical Requirements:

Required to lift up to 50 pounds and perform repetitive work.

Regularly required to sit, stand, bend, reach and move about the facility.

Ability to work 12-hour shifts, overtime may be required.

Must be able to meet the physical demands of the job.

Education/Certification Requirements:

English reading and writing abilities.

Some computer skills.

Ability to effectively communicate with, and coordinate activity and work with managers and fellow employees.

Must submit to and pass a Federal Background Check and Drug Test.

AWS welding certificate will be a plus, but not required. Will take on the job work experience as a replacement.
