Qualifications:

· 5+years experience MIG/TIG welding required

· AWS D1.1, AWS D1.6, AWS D1.2 qualifications preferred

· Ability to read and understand blue prints

· Ability to work on your own or in a team

· Proficient in shop math and problem solving skills

· Ability to use shop tools such as grinder, band saw, calipers, plasma cutter, oxy-acetylene torch, etc. is preferred

· Ability to determine material types and gauges

· Possess a keen sense of attention to detail

· Possess effective written and verbal communication shills

· Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 30 lbs, frequently lift and/or move up to 50lbs

· High school diploma or general education degree (GED)

Duties:

· Weld mild steel, stainless steel, (occasionally aluminum) according to blueprints

· Inspect welded parts against blueprints

· Perform other duties as assigned

· Must perform all duties in accordance with OSHA and WISHA requirements

· Follow written and verbal instructions to complete assignments or jobs

· Operate Forklift

· Keep work environment clean, safe and orderly

· Communicate to management about machinery and quality issues as they arise

Pay: $18.00 – $40.00 per hour
