Job Summary:

The position of Letter Fabricator is responsible for the fabrication and assembly of channel letters or mounting of channel letters to Raceways.

Essential Functions:

Operate bender to produce returns for channel letters

Channel letter bending and assembly

Ability to read and understand drawings and schematics

Inspect channel letter back produced by the router

Hand form letter returns “
Experience a Plus!!”, But Not Required!

Letter lock returns to channel letter backs

Glue trim cap to acrylic

Electrical wiring – 12-volt circuits and switch

Install lights/wiring in channel letters

Install power supplies and wiring to the raceway

Test lighting installed in channel letters

Ability to understand and make letter mounting patterns when needed

Maintain work area and machinery/tools in good working condition

Operation of the following tools:
metal shear, metal break, radial saws, welder, band saw, jigsaw, drills, grinders as well as other miscellaneous hand tools.

Follow the rules and regulations related to the safety of all employees working for the Company.

Must be at least 18 years of age or older.

Columbia, SC 29203: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)

Experience:

Welders & Fabricators: 1 year (Preferred)

Welding: 1 year (Preferred)
