Summary
The finisher is responsible for using solvents and tools to customize store fixtures. The finisher will apply stains, top coat and wood sealants to custom designed store fixtures
Essential Duties/Responsibilities
Fosters a culture that values family, innovation, collaboration and empowerment
Follows all safety and workplace policies
Follows blueprints, work orders and verbal instructions to determine product specifications and material requirements
Prepares a variety of substrates (wood, metal, plastic, vinyl, paper, etc.) for finsh using hand and power tools and chemicals for cleaning and paint adhesion
Mix finish to obtain desired color, shard and sheen of specific finish
Spray stain/color to parts and fixtures
Stack and unstack parts from tables and pallets ensuring damage prevention
Follows all safety and workplace policies

Education/Certification
High School Diploma or GED
Prefer 2 year technical/business degree or equivalent experience
Experience
2 years of experience in finishing
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions
Walking, sitting, bending, twisting, reaching, pushing, pulling and lifting up to 50 lbs. may be required throughout the workday
Requires a full range of body movements including but not limited to the use of hands, feet, arms, legs, back and torso
Excellent eyesight with or without correction is necessary
Ability to use a respirator and pass a respirator fit test

Pay: $17.00 – $22.00 per hour
