Job Summary
– Fabricator/Welder/Driver (structural steel/misc.)

We are seeking a highly motivated fabricator/welder/driver to take on a critical role in our growing company. This position can elevate the performance of our shop and plays a direct role in the success of our business both in the field and in the shop. This person should have a background in structural steel and miscellaneous steel fabrication.

Responsibilities

Full oversight of shop activities.

Production Management: Ensure time is managed effectively in order to meet project goals and timelines.

Quality Control: Inspect all incoming raw materials and outgoing finished work.

Safety: Maintain safe working conditions in the shop and field at all times.

Facility Management: Maintain a clean and organized shop and address safety and efficiency issues in a timely manner.

Communication: Discuss concerns and feedback early and often, always strive to maintain a positive attitude.

Continuous Improvement: Every issue and problem is a chance to improve our systems, look for areas to improve our efficiency on a daily basis.

Inventory: Track and record stock levels of materials and general supplies.

Advise management on the purchasing of tools, hardware, consumables, and safety supplies.

Always be flexible. The duties of this job fluctuate on a daily to hourly basis.

Requirements

5+ years of structural/miscellaneous steel fabrication experience.

1+ year of supervisory experience is a plus.

OSHA 10 minimum (we can provide if needed)

Extensive knowledge of tools, hardware, consumables, and best practices for custom metal fabrication.

Must be highly organized and self-motivated.

Must be able to meet timelines and stay on budget.

Computer skills are a must, should be able to use email and productivity applications such as excel, word, outlook.

Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening.

We have been in business in Las Vegas and the surrounding areas for 30 years. To qualify for this position, you must be able to pass a pre employment drug screening and demonstrate your ability to handle the work load over a 30 day trial period.

High School or equivalent (preferred)

Experience:

Metal Fabrication: 5+ years (preferred)

Leadership: 1 year (preferred)
