Essential duties & responsibilities:
2nd Shift 2PM-10PM M-F 17.00/hr.

Responsible for running production on hand welding, robot level 2, set up CNC operator in addition to the responsibilities under Fabricator 2.

Conducts inspections in accordance with relevant gage plans with a working knowledge of how to operate calipers and angle gages.

Able to troubleshoot problems that arise with work center and parts.

Cleans parts as required.

Responsible for preventative maintenance of machine center and compliance with the 6-S schedule. Perform minor repairs on fabrication cell equipment.

Assures compliance with QSR/ISO procedures/policies, customer service goals, and quality standards, while meeting production goals.

Accountable for all record-keeping as appropriate and in accordance with Stryker specifications.

Committed to quality by striving for reliability and quality in our products, continuously searching for ways to enhance performance and meeting all training and documentation criteria.

Adhering to all Stryker Quality Systems.

Qualifications & experience:

Ability to operate basic fabrication equipment required.

Must have passed and will maintain the Level 2 Operator Qualifications.

Ability to operate equipment specified above in addition to the Fabricator 1 and 2 level equipment.

Quality training, including visual inspection of welds (if operating a robot welder), incoming part quality, gage plan completion, and proper part loading.

Ability to use height stand, calipers, micrometers, coordinate measuring system, and other inspection equipment to inspect work pieces.

Must have skills in team concepts and basic preventative maintenance.

Basic skills – Ability to read and follow blueprints, basic reading, metrology and math skills, and ability to adhere to safety-related issues to include, but not limited to, good housekeeping and ergonomics practices.

Set-up skills to include following prints and product specifications needed.

Experience in manufacturing environment, particularly with machine operation, preferred.
