Right now, Jordan Machine is actively recruiting for one highly skilled Fitter / Welder with flexible skills across all aspects of Fabrication including:

Fitting: Print-Reading, Measuring, Cutting, Beveling, Squaring, Warpage Control.

Welding: Stick Welding, MIG Welding with both Flux-Core and Solid Core fillers, Arc-Gouging, Pre-Heating, and use of Rotary Tables.

Tasks may also include some machine teardown and re-assembly work requiring basic mechanical knowledge.

In Jordan’s job shop environment, each assignment requires new setups and skillful techniques. Therefore, the successful candidate will have:

Minimum of 3 years’ experience in independent layout, fit & weld.

Experience with .045/.062 Flux core wire.

Excellent blueprint reading skills.

Experience in measuring and quality monitoring.

Common welder’s hand tools.

AWS Certifications, especially FCAW, a plus.
