East Baltimore manufacturer is seeking qualified steel fabricators/fitters/welders

– Safety is Number 1 priority

– ALL Candidates Must Be able to Pass the AWS D1.1 Welding test in able to even work at this Facility. This is a Must!

– Must be able to fit & weld various types of steels/aluminum structures, tubing, channel, beams, etc. to close tolerances of a 1/16

– All jobs are estimated so all candidates must be able to complete projects in a timely manner. NO sitting around!

– Forming & rolling experience a plus, but can be taught

– 5-10 years minimum experience of hands-on fabrication experience

– 5-10 years minimum of Mig & Tig welding

– 5-10 years reading and understanding blue prints, reading tape measurers, dial calipers, and understand weld symbols

– Able to operate overhead crane safely and effectively when needed as well as any rigging knowledge needed to do so

– Strong attention to detail

– Effective time management skills

– Deburr grind metals as necessary for proper finish and fitment

– Quality and safe work habits are a must, full time position with overtime opportunity

– Must be motivated, strong work ethic, and have drive to complete work on time
