We are offering a full time, Monday – Friday with additional hours and/or weekends as needed, benefited opportunity to work as a eCommerce Soft Goods Fabricator. Yes, you read that right eCommerce. You might ask yourself what is eCommerce? We are creating products for third party vendors that has entrusted TentCraft to fabricate their products and ship to their customers. We need to bring on an awesome individual, like yourself to help us.
Although this position requires some hot air welding and industrial sewing…don’t let that scare you, we can teach you the trades in no time, attitude and aptitude are everything in this role! If you have any other skills, passions or abilities they will absolutely be utilized, and we encourage you to share them with us.

What you will be responsible for:

Safely operate a Juki industrial sewing machine, hot air welders, large format printers, grommet machine and computer guided cut machines. (Training is provided on all of these machines)

Once trained, able to follow and understand specific fabrication guidelines and quality assurance checks to ensure a world class product for our customers.

Boxing up material and working in a shipping program to print labels.

Inspection of finished products including functionality and aesthetics.

Always paying attention to detail and checking work before handing it off to the next operation.

Ability to keep on pace with other team members.

Trouble shoot product issues with other members in the department.

Follow standard work (instructional guides).

Speaking up and engaging in continuous improvement.

Grommet installation.

A good sense of humor, incredible work ethic and motivation to burst through ceilings are essential.

Flexibility when it comes to cross training for other job functions, we rely heavily on TEAMWORK.

What you need:

Constantly moving around production floor (can be up to 10 hours a day), drag, pull and lift up to 20 pounds.

Trustworthy, punctual and dependable.

The capacity to be flexible with your schedule.

To be able to think like a customer, detail oriented and quality driven.

Have a mindset to continuously improve processes as well as yourself.

Willingness to learn, take direction and respect others. Will need to possess strong communications skills, you will be working with several different departments, people and personalities while remaining professional at all times.
