Director of Sales, Software Solutions (Work Environment: Hybrid)

Computer Aided Technology (CATI), a leading industry provider of SOLIDWORKS CAD solutions, is on the lookout for our next strategic and money-motivated professional to join us as a Director of Sales! Spend time working with the best in the business, providing our customers with SOLIDWORKS solutions alongside our award-winning technical experts. Our Director of Sales is also responsible for the development and performance of all sales activities in a designated market. They will provide exceptional leadership to our Outside Sales team so we can win big together!
What you’ll do:
- Bring leading-edge technology to our industry in a rapidly evolving, hot product market
- Develop business plans and sales strategy for the SOLIDWORKS market
- Work with technical experts to ensure the best product and service solutions for a given client
- Possess an impressive understanding of your territory and market
- Provide documentation in our CRM to track your sales wins and opportunities for continued success
- Conduct regular coaching and mentoring sessions with members of your Sales Team
- Delegate responsibilities to your Sales Team to ensure success
- Maintain contact with clients and provide support to named accounts to guarantee high levels of customer satisfaction
- Train and develop Account Managers and Business Development Managers in your designated territory
- Demonstrate exceptional leadership and provide your team with meaningful learning opportunities
- Travel 25-35% to meet with your customer base to foster business relationships and close deals

Requirements
Who you are:
- A knowledgeable individual with Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience
- An experienced sales expert with 7 or more years’ experience with highly technical and consultative B2B sales
- A hungry and energetic sales professional, always on the lookout for new prospects and ways to build upon existing customer accounts
- A technology enthusiast with experience selling Computer Software in Manufacturing industry verticals
- A sales leader with experience managing teams
- A proven negotiator with experience closing deals and overcoming objections
- A lifelong learner with the ability to learn new skills and adapt to changing environments
- A strong communicator with impeccable interpersonal skills and an ability to work with teams
- A persuasive and trusted advisor capable of delivering sales presentations all the way up to C-Suite execs
- A wordsmith with exemplary written and verbal communication skills
- A documentation expert with experience utilizing CRM tools, preferably Salesforce
