, needs 25 Chassis Fabricating/Welders for temporary, full-time employment. Duties: Responsible for basic metal frame fabrication. Required to follow safety and quality regulations. Duties include welding crossmembers and outriggers, squaring the frame, welding the bumper, and mounting or setting the Upper Deck. Will apply camber to the frame and install slide-outs. Conduct basic operator maintenance on feeders, welding gun, and plasma. Read prints, build sub-assemblies slide outs, slide heads, and room bar, check placement of parts, and measure and mark product. No education or prior experience is required. Must be able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, crawl, and climb. Must be able to lift a minimum of 25 pounds. Must have demonstrated ability performing manual labor using hand tools (e.g., hammer, saw, screwdriver, drill). Must be able to read a tape measure, read a blueprint, and perform basic math (addition, subtraction, division). Must have demonstrated ability performing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Must be able to read and follow documented procedures and standards in English or Spanish. Employer will offer 50 hours of work per week, from Monday- Friday, in two shifts, 6 am to 3:30 pm or 6 pm to 4:30 a.m., with some Saturdays available as well. Workers are needed to begin work on 04/01/2022 through 03/31/2023. Workers will be paid no less than $19.31 per hour. Overtime hours will be paid at $28.97 per hour. Employer will provide on-the-job-training in assembly and safety requirements Employer will use a single workweek as its standard for computing wages due. Workers will be paid on Friday (weekly) by check. The employer will make all deductions from the employee’s paycheck as required by law. If worker completes 50 percent of the work contract period, the employer will arrange pay directly for transportation and subsistence from the place of recruitment to the place of work. Upon completion of the work contract or where the worker is dismissed earlier, the employer will provide or pay for worker’s reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer or where the employer has appropriately reported a worker’s voluntary abandonment of employment. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distances involved. Daily meals will be provided at a rate of at least $15 p/day during travel to a maximum of $55 p/day with receipts. Workers will be reimbursed in the first workweek for all visa, visa processing, border crossing and other related fees, including those mandated by the government (except passport fees). The employer will provide workers at no charge all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the job. The employer guarantees to offer work for hours equal to at least three-fourths of the workdays in each 12-week period of the total employment period.
