Ability Engineering Technology, Inc is seeking a certified welder with expertise in MIG, TIG, etc.

Essential Functions:

Fabricate piping, pressure vessels and other type of equipment using TIG, MIG and other welding processes.

Design test fixturing as necessary to support fabrication activities.

Recommend changes to procedures and processes to improve efficiency and/or quality of the product.

Perform field fabrication activities as necessary.

Support sales and marketing activities that result in increased revenue, sustainable growth and customer satisfaction.

Work closely with engineers and production personnel to resolve complex welding and fabrication problems.

Qualification Requirements

Minimum High School diploma. Associates Degree or related degree from an accredited institution preferred. State approved apprenticeship program, or equivalent education or experience to demonstrate the ability to successfully perform the job duties.

AWS Certification and minimum five (5) years welding experience.

Knowledge and experience working in a machine/manufacturing shop.

MUST be able to read drawings and fabricate based on drawing design, specifications and procedures.

Strong communications and customer interaction skills.

Ability to pressure test and perform leak testing is a PLUS.
