Bridge Fabrication and Assembly

Summary/Objectives
An experienced bridge fabricator for fit & weld operations inside the bridge fabrication department. Fabricates and assembles structural steel bridges
Essential Functions
Prior experience in Fit & Weld operations with structural steel.
Prior bridge assembly and fabrication experience.
Knowledge of welding in accordance to customer specifications, weld procedures, & dimensions indicated on drawings.
Expertise with steel shapes, sizes, & mill tolerances
Proficient with shop drawings & measurements to plan layout & proper procedures.
Organizes & supports own workday in support of company priorities & objectives.
Leads in quality standards against job specifications / industry standards & reports deviations.

Preferred Education and Experience
Experience in steel bridge fabrication & assembly
Experience as a welder
Knowledge of relative safety standards and use protective clothing.
Ability to read and comprehend shop drawings.
