Boilermaker/Fabricator
Responsibilities
Product Fabrication
Fabrication of various gates, posts, brackets etc
Installation of fencing and gates
General structural and mechanical maintenance
Mainly work from the factory but will also need to be flexible to travel to sites to perform remedial work for extended periods up to 2 weeks.
Operate various machines including but not limited to; press brake, plasma, guillotine, lathe, mill, drill press, mig and stick welder, bandsaw, various power tools etc.
Requirements
General mechanical knowledge
Skilled in mig, stick and tig welding
Must be able to read blueprints and execute requirements
High schools certificate with after school certificate/diploma in a mechanical or structural trade.
At least 3 years experience as a fabricator/boilermaker
Good communication skills
Competent in the use of excel, word, office.
Can take initiative to find various solutions to a specific problem.
