JOB SUMMARY
SDI is seeking an Aviation Technician/ Mechanic (Fabricator, Welder, Machinist) and experienced CNC operator to support Detachment 9 ACC TRSS at Luke AFB, AZ

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Supports aviation training aides and devices fabrication and maintenance utilizing:

Fabrication machinery

CNC Machinery

Welding

Machining

Wood Working

Pattern and mold making

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
1) Three years minimum experience in various trades such as metal design and fabrication, welding, machining, woodworking, and pattern and mold making.

2) Three years minimum experience operating CNC machinery to produce or modify components.

3) Experience operating a variety of automated presses, punches, brakes, mills, lathes, and welders.

4) Ability to create and interpret blueprints and mechanical drawings using manual drafting or computer aided modeling software.
